Experience
: Malcolm Kasler served as the vice president of Kasler Associates, P.A. and
previously served as the president of Malcolm Kasler & Associates, P.A. In
1975, prior to establishing his own firm, he served as the New Jersey Director
of Regional Planning for Candeub, Fleissig and Associates from 1961 to 1974, the
largest planning consultant firm in the United States at that time.
Malcolm Kasler established himself as a
recognized planning and land use expert in New Jersey and other states. He had
worked in more than two hundred municipalities in nine states, including more
than one hundred and fifty communities in New Jersey. He has also been involved
in numerous planning programs for private sector clients, including major
corporate and development applications.
His efforts as a member of the Drafting
Committee of the New Jersey Municipal Land Use have been acknowledged by various
professional planning associations and organizations including the New Jersey
League of Municipalities.
Malcolm also had been an active participant with
the New Jersey Planning Officials and was a member of the Board of Counselors.
Malcolm is also recognized as a leader in the
preparation of master plans, periodic re-examination reports, zoning and land
use regulations. He had served as an expert witness in literally hundreds of
cases before planning boards, boards of adjustment, governing bodies and in
superior court in 10 counties of New Jersey.
